Assignment 4: Batik (Presentation)

Our batik were sent to campus by Jadi Batek, and we collected it before class to make some preparations for our presentation. We presented our monogram together with the batik assignment. Therefore, our class looked really full and crowded with all the artworks pasted around the classroom.

These are some pictures of my group and I during the process of making the batik:

We presented our artwork this way:

The top left hand side is mine, right hand side is Chloe's whereas the bottom left hand side is Shukie's and the right side is Wei Yi's. Each of our style is clearly seen in this piece of artwork and we were all very proud of it. My style was half-feminine-yet-boyish, as you can see I am wearing the mint coloured high-low skirt but was paired with sneakers. Chloe loves her artworks horror looking and came up with this disturbingly-bloody looking legs with part of its flesh torn off. Shukie's style is Cutesy and it is very well portrayed with the polka-dot and stripes leggings. Wei Yi's funky style can be seen through her tribal-printed tights with boots that shows off her style.

These are some of the pictures taken during the process of the batik assignment,  done by our juniors:
